In development for the cormarant release. Based on the excellent Firefox Screengrab from Andy Mutton, this Flock extension allows you to save webpages (entire, visible portion, selection) and windows (eg. browser, blog, uploader) as png or jpg images. You can save these images to your file system, the clipboard or even send them straight to the photo uploader. Unlike some, this extension does NOT require Java (JRE) for saving webpage screenshots. However, JRE is needed to Capture entire windows or flash heavy sites - get the Free Java Runtime Environment from here (scroll down) and read the Java vs Canvas page.
Capture Types:
You can capture an entire webpage (includes the entire scrollable area), just the visible portion in your browser, a small area by using the selection box or capture an entire window which includes the Chrome (eg the Flock browser window, the blog editor, the photo uploader). Please read the Java vs Canvas page
The only way to Capture Flock's My World is via a whole window capture.
Capture Destinations:
You can capture the selected screenshot type to the clipboard, to your computers file system or send it straight to the Flock photo uploader. Preference options include jpg or png (default).
